Magic City Films, Inc. was founded in 1999 in Birmingham, Alabama, America's "Magic City".   Its founder's vision was to bring the excitement of Hollywood to the Southern United States.  While there have been some notable films shot in Alabama, until Magic City Films, there was not a company dedicated to bringing “the Magic of Hollywood to the South.” The mission of Magic City Films is to:

• Increase and enhance film and television production in the South, particularly, Birmingham;
