Gale (Timothy) has starred in various award-winning features, as well as national commercials. His voice-over work includes spots for Sprint, Visa and Epson Printers. He also starred in the award winning short Shorn, which screened at film festivals worldwide.

Hilliard (Derrick) has starred in movies, television shows, commercials, and industry films. He has starred in the Truman Show, Homicide, America's Most Wanted, and The Parkers. Hilliard has also achieved noteriety as a standup comedian at Headliner's

Manrique (Crystal) has starred in award-winning Colombian plays, as well as co-starring in the Colombian film Amarillista. She recently completed shooting Walt Disney/Touchtone film Sweet Home Alabama, as well as publishing a book, and hosting a new television show.

At age 10, Givhan (Alexia) has already testified before the House Labor Committee, and is on her way to the White House as the jr. ambassador for the Children’s Miracle Netowrk. She was the National Poster Child and Jr. Ambassador for the Sickle Cell Disease Association.

Under the Influence marks Murphy’s feature film acting debut. Murphy, age 11, has appeared in numerous community theater productions and school plays. Away from the set, Murphy enjoys singing, piano, classical ballet and jazz.

Price’s (Kelly) background includes extensive experience in voice-overs and commercials and industrials for radio and television. She has appeared in various award winning theater productions, and short films currently touring the festival circuit.

Gardner (Tony) is no stranger to the entertainment industry. His roles include Universal’s Sudden Death, as well as various award-winning films. Not only has he starred numerous national commercials, but Gardener also toured the country, working in theater.

Mac (District Attorney) has appeared in various film, television and stage projects, including He Got Game, Once in a Wifetime (Irma) and For Colored Girls (Lady in Red). She also was a local radio morning show talent and entertainment anchor for Fox TV.

Under the Influence is the film debut for Carlisle (Ilene). However, she has produced and directed many plays. Among her credits are South Pacific, Annie Get Your Gun, My Fair Lady, Rumors and Hello, Dolly. Carlisle also is an accomplished bassist and vocalist.

Wright (Atty. James Clinton) has appeared in more than forty stage plays in Birmingham. Most recently he played Judge Taylor in the Children’s Theater production of To Kill A Mockingbird and was featured as LeeRoy Buford in the film Main Street.

Poignard (Ms. Turner) has performed in various television commercials. When not acting, she speaks to high school students about preparing for their futures and motivating them to set goals.

Susan - Amber Lovett
Lovett got her big break in the entertainment industry when producers from Artisian's World Traveler hired her as a consultant. She was soon cast in Remy's E=MC3, an award winning short. Lovett currently is co-producing a semi-documentary piece Shoes.

Ashley (Bailiff) first became involved with theatre by joining the cast of Black Nativity. He went onto play Curtis Taylor, Jr. in Dreams Girls for Make It Happen Theatre. Ashley formerly played in the NFL for the New York Giants.

Judge Davis - Anthony Williams
Williams (Judge) has performed in many Christian-based plays serving as Minister of Drama at More Than Conquerors Faith Church in Birmingham. He came to the cast of Under the Influence after his most recent performance in Honey All Men Can’t Be Dogs.

Boy on Bike -
Roderick Jerome Smith, Jr.
Smith (Boy on Bike) has his film debut in Under the Influence. He is seven years old and attends the Advent Episcopal Day School. He enjoyed being in this film and hopes to further pursue acting.

Mugger - Titus Battle
Battle (mugger) has a wealth of experience in theatre and recently was in the feature film World Traveller. He is also an accomplished pianist, banjoist and songwriter.
